Refreshing Air For creating a fresh fragrance at home can be used an oil burner. This procedure requires some caution, since there is a candle flame.

If you have children in the apartment, or pets, this way is not always convenient. You can also use spray, but there is another way, which requires little if not intervention. The so-called dry fragrances are very popular. It consists of a stalk of grass, flower petals and citrus peel.

However, the smell of these aromatic compounds quickly evaporates. At the same time, dried flowers and herbs have the ability to absorb the good and the "hold" oil aromas.

You can create your own fragrances with essential oils to make home more pleasant.
First, it is not necessary to spend money on expensive exotic oils. Accessible ones are lavender, fir, geranium and rosemary.
The simplest way of creating scents is by aromatic pillows or sachets. Take small bags made of cotton or linen, stuff them with dried herbs, buckwheat husks, talcum powder, or just soak a piece of cotton wool into 1 drop of cinnamon, 1 drop of geranium and 1 drop of grapefruit or 1 drop of bergamot, 1 drop of nutmeg and 1 drop of lemongrass. Another recipe is a drop of rosemary, 1 drop of pine and a drop of nutmeg. You could tie a ribbon.

If you do not have time to sew bags just stuff the herbs in old children socks (only from natural fabrics).
You can use lavender, tansy flowers and dried orange peel - they will protect your clothes from moths. Rose oil is rare, and expensive, but the petals of rose hips, which bloom during July, have a nice rose scent. To protect items from moths use lavender, 5 drops of cedar and 5 drops of cypress. Place sachets evenly in closet drawers for 2 or 3 weeks. Also effective against moths is lemon and sage oil.

You can fill pillows with dried herb. It's a pleasure to sleep in the aroma of herbs. Over time herbs lose their flavor. Liven up your pillow with a few drops of essential oils and they will prolong the summer memories. Good herbs to use are mint, balm, thyme, oregano and sage.

For a refreshing scent suitable essential oils with a resinous or grassy aroma are rosemary, clary, sage, fir, juniper and sagebrush. These flavors will improve your sleep. This is very useful during flu epidemics, especially when someone has a cold in the family. And the first means of prevention for children attending kindergarten.

Cushion with the scent of cloves cleans the room air.  Use a spray bottle filled with water and lavender, geranium and citrus, as follows: 15-20 drops of essential oil is added to 50 ml (5 tablespoons) vodka or 30-40% alcohol and dissolved in 1 liter warm water. Shake well the mixture. Spray the room with the resulting solution and it will not only flavor the air, but clear the dust settled on.

For detergent mix a little vinegar and a few drops of lavender, tea tree, geranium and spruce. For furniture mix 50 ml of jojoba oil and 15 drops of orange to get a great polish. For kitchen mix few drops of lavender and geranium oil.  To remove musty smell use geranium, lemon, clove, mint and rosemary. And for the toilet mix 2 drops of fir oil, 1 drop of peppermint oil and 2 drops of lemon oil.

Many essential oils have not only a pleasant smell that has a positive impact on our health, but disinfection and antimicrobial properties, which allows using them widely in the household.
