Five Simple Steps to Clean your Home

If you ask a woman what is the most annoying household activity, most probable answer will be cleaning. Although cleaning looks simple and easy, it is time consuming and exhausting. Thinking about all the hours spend in the house, cleaning instead of being out having fun, makes a lot of women give up.
If you often find yourself in a similar situation, here are simple steps that will help you cope with this task.
Step one: Plan your cleaning time
Look around you and try to estimate how much time you will need to clean your home. If you are living in a bigger house with more than five rooms, cleaning will take you a day. If you are living in an apartment, it will probably take you a couple of hours. Depending on your situation, try to plan your time for taking care for your home. Planning your cleaning time simply means to choose a day , when you will have time to complete the task. I suggest you pick up a day during the weekend, since then you will have more time for cleaning. Mark one day on the calendar and don't plan anything else for that day.
Step two: Be alone when cleaning
We all know how frustrating it is to have a full house when you are cleaning. If you are like most women, you will most probably get nervous with all your family in the house, while you are cleaning it. It is almost impossible to complete this task when you are not alone. So, you better have your husband take the kids out, so you can clean without interruptions. When you are alone in the house, you can be more comfortable and finish your task more quickly and easily. Don't try to clean your home, while your kids are in. They will be moving around and playing, thus bothering you.
Step three: Get comfortable
If you are like most women, you will most probably panic, when you see how many hours you have to spend in, cleaning your home. This is why, you need to calm yourself and get comfortable before starting cleaning. How can you do it? Well, there is only one way to do it, put on your favorite music. Music can lift your mood and create a calm and happy feeling, especially when you hear your favorite songs. So, turn up the volume and start cleaning.
Step four: Wear comfy clothes
When you are preparing yourself for cleaning, keep in mind that you have to be as comfortable as possible. You know that when cleaning there are lots of movements, it is almost like exercising. So, you need to wear comfortable clothes. Besides, you will get dirty while cleaning, so pick up clothes which you don't wear anymore and will be only for cleaning.
Step five: Start with the bigger rooms
If you are cleaning for two hours, you are most probably getting tired already and wanting to give up. To avoid getting exhausted too soon, when you have a couple of rooms left to clean, I suggest you start first with the smaller rooms. Cleaning a small room will take you less time, then cleaning a bigger one. Besides , you will not be so worn - out and you will have energy left for the other rooms. Start with something easier to clean and then move on to the bigger and more difficult rooms.
Even though, you have to spend many hours cleaning your home, it does not have to be that tiresome. Following these steps can make cleaning easier and even more fun.
